Saturday:
Snowboarding race in La Grave. Don't know my result
yet but the race is a derby with 700 participants on ski's snowboards and telemark.
First one down wins. All off piste.
Sunday:
Snowboarding in Serre Chevalier. Good snow, did some
good jumps.
Monday:
Caving (or spelunking) in Scialet de Malaterre. Massive
cave shaft - starts with a 120 meter (~360ft) rappel of a bridge - straight
down in to the void.
Tuesday:
Caving in Scialet de Fee Anglaise. Excellent cave, ends
in a big lake which goes of in the distance. Next time we'll bring a boat and
explore further.
Wednesday:
Caving in Glacier de Carri. Desperate trip. Got back
up to the surface at 12'o'clock at night after a long day in the darkness.
Thursday:
Snowboarding in La Grave.
Friday:
Snowboarding in La Grave. Found a superb spot for
some cliff jumping - steep and deep landing with a lot of air time!
Saturday:
Rock climbing in St. Pancrasse. Superb climbing site
with an incredible view over the whole Grenoble valley with the Alps and the
Vercors in the background.
Sunday:
Caving in Scialet de Joufflus. Beautiful cave - also
with lots of lakes and fascinating formations.
